Hi,
I bought some wind deflectors for my T5 Cali. They are from Van- X and are the ones that stick into the window channel. The problem I have is when I close the window it automatically re opens because it’s sensing something. Has anyone else had this problem and what can I do? Thank you.

Mine had two small metal inserts each side which seem to prevent the window from sensing the deflector.
It worked for two years but recently stopped doing so so took the deflectors out.
Good luck.

Yes......the deflectors are for single glazed front windows. My is laminated with two panes of glass. On the passenger side there is a slight bubble in the glass. I've cut as much out as I dare, but this one is problematic. The drivers side is fine.

Were the deflectors difficult to remove?
One became dislodged at 70mph on the M6, the other needed no tools, just a tug and a twist from the front, the reverse of fitting.
The metal lugs come out with a fine flat blade screwdriver.

I purchased these ones as my brother fitted them on his T4 in 2005 and they are still like new, super tight fit and secured with a small screw they do not affect the electric windows.
