Anyone else booked trips for 2026 yet, and where are you going?

Hey everyone! Just booked some trips for the next 12 months...

Bolmynydd Camping Park in North Wales for May.
Dolomites trip in June (yet to sort... still researching).
Great Langdale NT site in the Lakes for July. (We've never been able to grab a spot before! Useless)
Bryn Ednyfed Caravan Site in Anglesey for August.

This is pretty damn organised for us. Usually, we're too busy to sort anything in advance.

We got our van in 2019 and have had one thing after the other since. Been really unlucky.
2024 was particularly tough. I was so unwell I barely left the house for that entire 12 months!

I'd love to book one more trip in the UK. Where have you got planned?

Lake Myvatn is gorgeous if the midges don't get you. Take binoculars and sight whales at Huskavik. Stunning.

Croatia in May via Germany,Switzerland,Italy and back up through Slovenia,Austria. Taking the Newcastle-Amsterdam Ferry.

With new van inbound, we've only committed to the one main trip thus far in June for a few weeks - Bruges then onto Como swinging back via Paris. I'm sure we'll plan many more!

• Booking: Pre-booking is mandatory as the lagoon has a limited daily capacity and frequently sells out weeks in advance.
• Pricing: Admission starts at approximately £109–£156 ($137–$197) for a "Comfort" package.
• Opening Hours (Feb–June 2026): Daily from 08:00 to 20:00. Guests must exit the water 30 minutes before closing.
• Water Temperature: Maintains a consistent 37–40°C (98–104°F) year-round.
• Safety Update: As of February 2026, the lagoon is open. While the Reykjanes Peninsula has experienced frequent volcanic activity since 2021, the facility has sophisticated evacuation plans and protective barriers in place

Although I would certainly endorse a visit to Blue Lagoon, it can get very busy with tourists.
The locals can point you to some equally stunning and much more quiet alternatives. Much cheaper too.
Even better, do both

2-week August trip: Taking the kiddies down to Lake Maggiore, with overnight stops in Luxembourg City and Colmar.
On to Lake Thun, then returning through France with overnight stays in Nancy and Arras.
December: a week in Levi, Lapland, not in the van though

Only picked up the Beach a couple of weeks ago but booked a ferry to Netherlands from Newcastle in the summer holidays with the intention of heading down to the South of France for a couple of weeks. Normally take a caravan so looking forward to be able to go a lot further / stop on the way - not looking forward to having a lot less luggage space!

All these trips sound amazing! We’ve got a mini 5 day tour of the NE coming up in April, taking in Northumberland, Newcastle and Co Durham. Originally wanted to go to N Ireland but ferry is extortionate so will leave that until we can do a longer trip to justify the cost. Hoping we’ll have a nice summer to do some UK weekends too

I think it’s all but gone now, look on their website for April offers. They do have other deals early summer too. I found as the season goes on the cost of cabins go through the roof however

That's my home patch - I'm sure you'll have a great time! We've looked at Ireland but as you say the ferry is ridiculous (you can use clubcard vouchers to help) - I've totted it up and given fights are stupidly cheap as is car hire even with hotels / b and b it's cheaper to just fly...

Melrose 7s rugby followed by West Coast of Scotland in late spring followed by Sweden up to Arctic Circle (not Nordkapp) and down the length of Norway later in Summer.
