I use this a lot along the door and roof seals. It’s pretty good stuff.Just got another bottle of this stuff and have been round every rubber seal on the Cali.
By my reckoning, there must be at least 80m in total (or it felt like that anyway)

I have just joined the exclusive club of California owners with a Ecomat 2000+ Select.Ecomat 2000 Select Offshore edition PTC Heater. Winter is coming.
After having a few of the cheaper ceramic heaters and most of them being loud and challenging to control temps without an accurate thermostat I decided to take the plunge.
This thing cranks out amazing heat and is almost silent. Even using the lowest power setting of 450 watts it was pumping out heat.
I bought the offshore edition which has extra protection against corrosion (made for boats or high humidity) as it will be stored in my storage box outside the can which can have high humidity.
The price was a hard pill to swallow but the wife and I can’t sleep with noisy fans like the others. Looking forward to some winter trips with this!

Interesting item and looks amazing but at 1800w and the price I can't help wondering if it really is 15 times better than the almost silent ceramic 500w heater that warms our van in minutes and can be run from a power bank.I have just joined the exclusive club of California owners with a Ecomat 2000+ Select.
If you can handle the price (mine was 399€ plus 33€ for the case) and more likely you can get that past 'swmba' then this is a gem of a small ceramic heater.
I bought mine in Germany, during a road trip, from a 'Wohnmobile' dealer linked to:

@Webbah_in_Switzerland pointed me in the right direction.
I could not find a dealer in the UK. I had been about to buy one in Switzerland but discovered the fitted plug there were the Swiss version and I wanted a Shuko for our continental wanderings.
I agree with Webbah's explanations for the heater and his thoughts about price (hence the exclusive club). My wife and tend to self-cater all over Europe so additionally like to have our own heater (and cooling fan) to hand, but my previous heaters have all been noisy (both on the thermostat and fan) by comparison this only whispers.
For those of a certain age the unit reminds me of my 1970's stand alone audio equipment, it has several setting alternatives for fine tuning, after self learning as the English translated instructions are typically teutonic.

Yes, I am not expecting this 'exclusive club' to grow much, though I am satisfied for the all the reasons already described.… I can't help wondering if it really is 15 times better than the almost silent ceramic 500w heater …
Looks great, was it a custom order or do they now offer them for T7?We got our windscreen cover for the T7 from Custom Camping.
I am really looking forward to not building the tent of the windscreen cover that comes with the van from VW.

The Ecomat manual (perhaps covering themselves for lower quality plant) suggests that whilst the heater can be set to run at any of 450, 750 and 1500 watts (1800 watts without filter), where it is run off a generator or sine wave !!! inverter the supply should be at least 800 watts presumably allowing for fluctuations etc. (though electrical experts will know better). It has multiple modes. 450 watts being the lowest.

In other words, using the California's OEM inverter is a non-starter, though EHU, which is sometimes limited to 500 watts should be fine, as presumably should be an appropriate Ecoflow or similar battery pack (though I know nothing about these).
They have them for T7 as standard. Have a look at the YouTube videos to see if it is right for you.You can pick one of their many designs or get your own graphics put on although this costs a bit more.Looks great, was it a custom order or do they now offer them for T7?
Liking the new look!New vs old pics for info. (No not my bike ;-), helping a friend shift theirs.
