Better economy and smooth drive for half the year in hot climates / safer and better grip for the rest of the year in cold and wet climates.
After living in the Yorkshire Dales during some harsh winters … it’s worth the effort.

I have these. Very well made and give confidence to keeping wind out awning securely strapped down. The springs keep awning movement in strong wind gusts to a minimum.

Bleughhhhhhhhh, sacrilege! Just a nice dusting of salt & vinegar, job done. Have to admit though when stationed in Germany with BAOR everyone seemed to have Mayo on their chips.

Yep, they're the Thule set from the club shop. They're angled out at 90deg in the pic as that's how it's shown on the instructions on the box:

It’s a tiny tiny little place easily missed. There’s a monument in the Main Street by the gardens, look right from the monument it’s nestled in the corner. Usually open noon - 8pm.

quiet and beautiful - no facilities open atm but we are still loving it -
we have come to campervanning from only camping in tents so we are currently loving being dry, cosy and warm - owning a campervan is life changing

Finally leaving this amazing spot, spent a week exploring Glenlivet estate and it’s definitely worth a visit if you like the quiet life and nature!Drumin Castle, the smugglers walk along river livet and watching the young swift’s put on an amazing aerial display was a highlight. The Glenlivet bike trail and ebike hire was great fun too!

Exploring an area is way more fun than bombing round the NC500
